Food Square has expanded beyond Mumbai with the launch of its first store in Ahmedabad, marking a significant milestone in the gourmet retailer's growth journey.
Located on Sindhu Bhavan Road, the 9,000 sq. ft. outlet combines premium grocery shopping with dining, bakery offerings, personalised gifting and curated food experiences. Customers can explore global groceries, fresh produce, speciality ingredients, imported cheeses and international brands such as Graza and Olipop.
The store also features dedicated experiences including the Cheese Corner, The Gift Shop for customised hampers, Breadsmith bakery and the Chopping Board service offering freshly prepared fruits, vegetables and made-to-order items.
Commenting on the expansion, Lalit Jhawar, Co-founder and CEO of Food Square, said Ahmedabad's vibrant food culture made it the ideal choice for the brand's first venture outside Mumbai, with plans to bring its gourmet retail experience to more cities across India.
