Škoda Auto India's Kylaq has completed a remarkable 19,351-km overland journey from Pune to Prague, travelling across 13 countries in 70 days.

The expedition began at Škoda's manufacturing facility in Pune and concluded in Prague, symbolically connecting the SUV's Indian production base with the brand's home in the Czech Republic. Along the way, the India-made Kylaq tackled diverse terrains, elevations ranging from 154 metres below sea level to 5,364 metres above, and temperatures between -12°C and 43°C.

Commenting on the achievement, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Škoda Auto India, said the expedition showcased the strength of Indian engineering and manufacturing while reinforcing India's growing contribution to the brand's global ambitions.

Built on the locally developed MQB-A0-IN platform, the Kylaq is Škoda's first sub-four-metre SUV designed specifically for the Indian market, further underlining the company's commitment to locally engineered, world-class products.
