Paytm has introduced ‘Paytm Checkin’, a new AI-enabled travel booking app designed to simplify trip planning and bookings through conversational assistance. The platform allows users to interact with an AI assistant that recommends destinations, creates personalised itineraries, and manages bookings for flights, trains, buses, and metro travel.
Currently in its early beta stage, the app adapts recommendations based on user preferences and travel behaviour, with plans to further enhance the experience through customer feedback.
Paytm Checkin also offers zero convenience fees on bookings and a free flight cancellation option for Rs 99. Users can additionally subscribe to a Travel Pass for Rs 249 to unlock extra savings and travel benefits. Features such as Paytm Assured for Buses and Ticket Assure for Trains aim to provide smoother and more reliable travel experiences.
The app comes with a simplified interface, transparent pricing, faster checkout, and real-time flight tracking to help travellers stay updated throughout their journey.
Speaking about the launch, Vikash Jalan said the platform is focused on making travel planning more personalised, intuitive, and efficient using AI technology.
