Philips India has appointed actor Yash as the brand ambassador for its men's grooming portfolio and unveiled its new campaign, 'Trimmers Ka Baap', featuring the actor.

As part of the association, Philips India has also partnered with Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups as its Official Grooming Partner. The film is scheduled for worldwide release on August 26, 2026.

The collaboration follows social media conversations earlier this year after fans noticed Yash using a Philips trimmer in a behind-the-scenes video.

The campaign promotes Philips' All-in-One Trimmer with BeardSense Technology, which, according to the company, scans beard density 125 times per second and automatically adjusts power according to hair density.

The campaign will be rolled out across digital and social media, cinema, OTT, outdoor, retail and experiential platforms.

Speaking about the partnership, Yash said that he had been using Philips grooming products for years, even before the association was discussed. He added that consistency and performance are important to him when it comes to everyday grooming.

Smit Shukla, Zone Business Leader – Personal Health, Philips Indian Subcontinent, said the association was driven by its authenticity, particularly after consumers organically noticed Yash using the brand's trimmer.

According to Shukla, Yash's association with confidence, individuality and grooming makes him a natural fit for Philips. The brand aims to highlight its grooming technology through the 'Trimmers Ka Baap' campaign and its partnership with Toxic.
