Renewable energy company ReNew has unveiled its latest national campaign, ‘Clean Energy Humse Hai’, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Networks India, integrating the campaign with the 18th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
The campaign celebrates ReNew's 15-year journey in India's renewable energy sector while highlighting the growing importance of clean power in the country's economic and social development. The campaign will reach audiences across television, connected TV, digital platforms, outdoor advertising, print and social media.
Built around the thought ‘Badal Raha Hai Desh Ka Mukhda’, the campaign film showcases how clean energy is contributing to India's transformation. It features a rendition of ‘Sabke Hisse Dhoop Ka Tukda, Khil Gaya Mere Desh Ka Mukhda’, connecting the idea of sunlight and renewable power with the country's progress.
ReNew's journey began with a 25.2 MW wind project in Jasdan, Gujarat, in 2012. The company has since grown to approximately 20 GW of renewable energy capacity across 10 states, along with around 9 GW of solar manufacturing capacity.
The partnership with KBC 18 goes beyond conventional brand integration. ReNew will come on board as an associate partner of the show and will work towards reducing the programme's carbon footprint through renewable energy initiatives.
As part of the association, ReNew also plans to install solar panels at the homes of select KBC contestants. These installations will subsequently be showcased during the programme, bringing the clean-energy conversation closer to viewers and demonstrating how renewable solutions can become part of everyday life.
The campaign has been conceptualised by Saatchi & Saatchi India and will be presented in Hindi, English and regional-language adaptations. Rolling out in August 2026, the initiative combines entertainment, sustainability and purpose-led storytelling to encourage consumers to see clean energy as a collective responsibility.
Through ‘Clean Energy Humse Hai’, ReNew aims to position India's clean-energy transition not just as an industrial transformation, but as a movement in which every citizen can play a role.
