PV Sindhu stepped   her comfort zone to compete in a demanding HYROX mixed relay event hosted by PUMA in Bengaluru. The format combined eight 1 km runs with functional workout stations, pushing athletes to balance endurance and strength under pressure.

Sindhu embraced the challenge, highlighting how different it felt from her usual badminton arena, where instead of an opponent, it was a test against time and physical limits. Her performance drew strong support from Harmanpreet Kaur, who attended the event and cheered her on, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

The event marked another milestone in HYROX’s growing presence in India, drawing thousands of participants and reflecting a surge in interest in competitive fitness formats. Organisers noted significant growth compared to previous editions, signaling a rising culture of participative sport.

With global backing from PUMA, HYROX continues to expand across cities, offering athletes and fitness enthusiasts a new platform to challenge themselves beyond traditional sports.
