has announced the integration of Amazon MX Player into a single entertainment destination in India. The move combines free ad-supported streaming, premium subscriptions, transactional video services, and add-on channels under one unified platform.

Following Amazon’s 2024 acquisition of select MX Player assets, the merged service aims to create India’s largest free-and-paid streaming ecosystem. Users will gain access to a broader catalogue of originals, exclusives, and global entertainment across SVOD, AVOD, TVOD, and subscription-based offerings. Prime members will have the option to watch content with ads or upgrade to an ad-free experience.

The integration also strengthens advertising opportunities by offering brands a single platform to reach audiences across both free and premium streaming categories. While the Amazon MX Player Android app will continue supporting free streaming users with a dedicated Prime Video experience, iOS, web, and smart TV users will be redirected to Prime Video for unified access.
