PepsiCo has introduced Sting Classic Kick, the latest addition to its Sting Energy range in India, supported by a new campaign featuring actor Lakshya.
The campaign film unfolds inside a restaurant, where Lakshya walks into a tense exchange involving two customers and a waiter. After taking a sip of Sting Classic Kick, the scene transforms into a stylised action sequence filled with exaggerated slow-motion moments and humorous visuals, including peanuts being used as dramatic action props.
Blending humour, cinematic storytelling and action-packed visuals, the campaign aims to highlight the bold and energetic personality of the new Sting flavour while strengthening the brand’s appeal among young consumers.
Speaking about the launch, Diksha Bajaj, Category Head – Energy Portfolio at PepsiCo India, said the company continues to grow the energy drink category through innovation and new flavour experiences. She added that Sting Classic Kick has been designed to deliver a stronger and bolder taste while maintaining the energetic identity associated with the brand.
Actor Lakshya shared that he enjoyed the campaign’s high-energy treatment, adding that the mix of action, humour and confident storytelling makes the film both stylish and entertaining. He also noted that the campaign effectively captures the bold character of the new Sting Classic Kick flavour.
The campaign will be promoted across television, digital platforms, social media, influencer partnerships and outdoor advertising.
Sting Classic Kick will be available across retail stores and e-commerce platforms in India in 180 ml cans priced at Rs 30 and 300 ml PET bottles priced at Rs 20.
