Hyundai Motor India Celebrates 30 Years with AI‑Powered Brand Film

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has marked a historic milestone — three decades in India — with the launch of a new brand film powered entirely by artificial intelligence. The film, released on June 15, 2026, commemorates Hyundai’s journey of Trust, Pride, and Progress, while showcasing its evolution from the iconic Santro to futuristic electric models like the IONIQ 5 and Creta Electric.

Told through the imaginative perspective of a child, the film seamlessly blends Hyundai’s past and future. It revisits defining moments — the launch of models such as Accent, Verna, i10, and i20 — while highlighting modern favourites like Creta, Venue, and Alcazar. AI technology reimagines these milestones in a visually immersive way, making the narrative both nostalgic and forward‑looking.

Speaking at the launch, Virat Khullar, Head – Marketing, HMIL, said: “As we celebrate three decades of our journey in India, this brand film made with AI allowed us to do something special — to revisit and recreate defining moments from our past in a way that feels fresh and immersive. From our earliest products to our latest innovations, AI helped us reimagine our journey through the eyes of a child, blending nostalgia with a forward‑looking perspective.”

The film is more than a celebration of cars — it reflects Hyundai’s values of customer trust, national pride, and continuous innovation. Over the past 30 years, Hyundai has sold more than 13.5 million units, invested over ₹40,700 crore, and committed an additional ₹45,000 crore by FY2030 to drive electrification, manufacturing, and future mobility in India. With production hubs in Chennai and Pune, Hyundai has become India’s largest exporter of passenger vehicles, shipping to over 150 countries.

The campaign also underscores Hyundai’s commitment to sustainability, with all offices and plants now powered by 100% renewable energy under the RE100 benchmark. Its CSR initiatives have touched over 2 million lives annually, reinforcing Hyundai’s role as a responsible corporate citizen.

By using AI to tell its story, Hyundai has not only celebrated its legacy but also demonstrated its readiness for the future. The film positions Hyundai as a youthful, dynamic brand that continues to innovate while staying deeply connected to India’s growth story.
