Ice cream brand Hocco is tapping into pop culture with a limited-edition Bullet Ice Cream, created in collaboration with Mirzapur: The Movie.

The partnership brings together food, entertainment and nostalgia, using one of the franchise's most recognisable visual cues the bullet to create a product designed to stand out beyond traditional entertainment advertising.

Turning pop culture into a product

The Bullet Ice Cream takes inspiration from the crime drama's identity, with Hocco building its communication around the line “ILAKA APNA, RULES APNA AUR..BULLET BHI APNI”.

The collaboration is positioned as a bold and unexpected extension of the Mirzapur universe, allowing fans to interact with the franchise through an actual consumer product.

Taking entertainment beyond the screen

The partnership comes ahead of the theatrical release of Mirzapur: The Movie, scheduled for September 4, 2026.

Rather than relying only on conventional movie promotions, the collaboration turns a familiar element from the franchise into a limited-edition FMCG experience.

Quick commerce becomes the distribution engine

The Bullet Ice Cream will be available through major quick-commerce and e-commerce platforms, including Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Flipkart Minutes, Amazon and BigBasket.

It will also be sold through Huber & Holly outlets, giving the campaign both digital convenience and physical retail presence.

The bigger takeaway

Hocco's Mirzapur collaboration shows how brands can use entertainment IPs to create products instead of simply sponsoring content.

By turning a recognisable franchise element into a limited-edition product, Hocco is creating a campaign that can generate social conversation, fan participation, trial and impulse purchases while riding the anticipation around the movie release.
