Stayfree has launched a new digital campaign for its Secure Nights range, focusing on how menstrual needs vary between day and night—and how these differences can affect sleep quality.
The campaign brings attention to sleep disruption during periods, noting that concerns such as leakage and discomfort often lead to frequent waking. It also underscores findings that many women experience disturbed sleep during menstruation, which can impact energy levels and alertness the following day.
Conceptualised by DDB Mudra, the digital film explores a common habit among users—relying on the same sanitary product throughout their cycle, including at night. Through its narrative, the film illustrates how this practice can lead to interrupted sleep due to anxiety around leakage, ultimately resulting in next-day fatigue.
The campaign positions night-time menstrual care as a distinct requirement, suggesting that choosing the right product for overnight use can improve sleep continuity and overall comfort.
Commenting on the initiative, Manoj Gadgil, Vice President, Marketing and Essential Health Business Unit Head at Kenvue, said the brand aims to address the gap in awareness around night-time menstrual protection. He noted that many women unknowingly compromise their sleep by using day pads at night, which can affect how they feel and function the next day.
He added that the Secure Nights range is designed specifically for overnight use, featuring enhanced protection and coverage to help prevent leakage and support uninterrupted sleep. Through the campaign, the brand encourages women to recognize the importance of switching to products tailored for night-time needs to wake up feeling more rested.
The campaign will be rolled out across digital platforms, including YouTube, Meta platforms, and OTT channels.
