Adani Wilmar rebrands as AWL Agri Business Limited

Adani Wilmar, a leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company, has officially rebranded as AWL Agri Business Limited, according to The Economic Times. The company announced the name change in a press release on Tuesday, February 25, following shareholder approval.

This strategic rebranding aims to better represent the company’s core business focus and align with its future growth plans in the agriculture and food sectors. In its statement, the company emphasized that the new identity reflects its broader ambitions within the agri-business industry.

According to media reports, AWL Agri Business Limited is preparing to launch new products in the 2026 financial year, targeting both value and premium segments within the essential kitchen products market.

The rebrand follows the Adani Group’s full divestment from its joint venture with Wilmar International last year. The group sold its entire stake through open market transactions, transferring full ownership to the Singapore-based company in a deal worth over $2 billion.

This name change marks a new phase for the company as it repositions itself within the competitive agri-business landscape.
