Mokobara joins the journey of Diljit Dosanjh’s record-breaking Dil-luminati Tour

Mokobara, the travel luggage brand that was born during the pandemic, has swiftly carved out a significant presence on the global stage, thanks to an exciting collaboration with Punjabi music icon and actor Diljit Dosanjh. As part of his record-breaking Dil-luminati tour, Mokobara’s stylish and functional travel essentials have become an integral part of the show, marking a major milestone for the brand.

The Mokobara Journey: From Pandemic Pivot to Global Recognition

Launched in early 2020, Mokobara initially introduced a single product: the meticulously designed Cabin Luggage. Just as the brand was gearing up for its big debut, the pandemic hit, forcing its founders to reimagine their approach. “When the possibility of travel seems alien, but you still keep returning to the same idea, that’s when you know what you’ve created is something special,” says Sangeet Agrawal, Mokobara’s founder.

Through patience and perseverance, Mokobara remained committed to its vision. By 2023, as travel resumed, the brand was ready to shine. With its vibrant colors, modern designs, and focus on functional luxury, Mokobara resonated with a new generation of travellers eager to explore the world again. By 2024, Mokobara had become synonymous with fresh, stylish travel, with the brand featuring prominently in social media travel stories and ‘fit checks’.

Mokobara’s Milestones and Breakthrough Partnerships

2024 marked a series of firsts for Mokobara. The brand collaborated with IndiGo to launch the limited edition Moko 6E Luggage, offering flyers an extra 2 kg baggage allowance. This partnership elevated Mokobara’s visibility, culminating in a high-profile appearance on the Bollywood set of Crew, featuring stars Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Tabu, and Diljit Dosanjh.

Dosanjh’s newfound admiration for Mokobara was a turning point for the brand. As Agrawal recalls, “We received so much love from people who spotted our bags in the film.” The biggest endorsement came when Dosanjh was seen carrying Mokobara luggage at every opportunity during his travels.

“Mokobara is now part of Diljit’s journey—and no one is doing it quite like him, with his electric stage presence, iconic fashion, and global recognition,” Agrawal adds.

With Dosanjh making history as the first Punjabi artist to perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and charting on the Billboard Hot 100, Mokobara’s collaboration with him is perfectly timed. As the India leg of his Dil-luminati tour unfolds, Mokobara is becoming an essential part of his on-the-road lifestyle.
