From flavours to fame: Ranveer Brar’s journey from chef to brand ambassador

Ranveer Brar is a man of many talents, from creating exquisite dishes to captivating audiences on screen, writing books, opening restaurants, and even stepping into the world of acting. Despite his ever-expanding portfolio, one thing has remained consistent—his ability to form genuine connections. This unique trait has made him a go-to figure for numerous brands.

Over the years, Brar has collaborated with more than 50 brands across a wide array of categories, such as home appliances, FMCG, fashion, homeware, lifestyle, and even photography. Some of these include well-known names like Philips Airfryer, Everest Masala, Tata Sampann, Aashirvaad Atta, Milkmaid, Kellogg’s, Unibic Swadesi, Hershey’s, Home Centre, John Jacobs, Master Chow, Asahi Kasei, Leica Camera, and the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM).

For Brar, these partnerships go beyond mere endorsements—they represent a natural extension of his journey as a chef and storyteller. In an interview with afaqs!, he shares how his evolving journey led him to embrace brand collaborations. “As a restaurant chef, I realized that my reach was limited to those who could physically experience my food. But food is more than just taste—it carries stories, ideas, and beliefs that deserve a broader audience. That moment of realization changed my perspective,” he says.

For Brar, brand collaborations are about more than just visibility; they are about creating a meaningful impact. “It’s always a two-way street: I offer something to the world, listen to feedback, and refine my understanding of the market. This continuous exchange allows me to connect with consumers not just through my restaurants but also through the brands I collaborate with, which deepens my understanding of their needs and desires.” These partnerships not only amplify his message but also allow him to continually evolve in his craft.
